PWInsider has confirmed that Nia Jax, Ruby Riott and Naomi are set to be in Houston, Texas for the 2020 Royal Rumble.
Jax has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35 due to ACL tears. She underwent successful surgery on both of her ACLs on April 25th of last year and has been recovering and rehabbing for the last ten months.
Riott has been out of action since May. She underwent successful surgery of a “bilateral injury” to her right shoulder that same month and later underwent the same surgery for her left shoulder. Riott was at the WWE Performance Center earlier this month.
Naomi has not wrestled for the company since last July, mostly due to personal issues, and is returning soon as part of the SmackDown brand.
This does not mean they are returning for the Women’s Rumble match, but the possibilities are there, as there are still 25 open slots. Stay tuned for more updates on the possible Royal Rumble entrants.
