According to a new report by Wrestling Observer Radio, Liv Morgan is not slated for a big singles push anymore now that Paul Heyman stepped back from his position as the Executive Director.
I guess whatever it was with Liv, it changes that. Obviously the previous regime wanted to build liv as a big singles star.
Liv Morgan reportedly went to Vince McMahon to ask to be moved to Raw since she wasn’t being used on SmackDown. Vince approved it and it was a matter of a storyline for her to return. However, Vince didn’t approve any of the ideas suggested by Heyman, until the Lana – Rusev – Lashley angle was pitched.
Liv returned as a secret lover of Lana, but that was quickly dropped as the plan was to just put her back on TV. Since then, she has beaten Lana in 2 singles matches and entered a brief feud with Ruby Riott, who she also defeated in several singles matches. Liv has lost the last two matches and is seemingly being put back into the tag team division with Ruby Riott.
Morgan has also called out WWE for cutting her match short while posting the photos of her moves on their website. She faced Natalya in a singles match, where the only offence Liv had was a Headscissors Takedown from the apron to the outside.
