As we reported earlier, Kairi Sane was set to leave WWE sometime this summer, where she would go back to Japan and possibly work as an ambassador for WWE. She was reportedly set to be written out by Asuka’s SummerSlam opponent, who is not set to be Nia Jax at this moment.
Sane returned to Raw this Monday, where she faced Sasha Banks in a singles match, winning it by DQ. Next week she is set to main event Raw in a Women’s Tag Team Title match, challenging Banks and Bayley.
In an update from TalkSPORT, it is said that her retirement may not be set in stone as WWE plans to use Sane. They are set to offer her better money than she could get anywhere else in an attempt to keep her involved with the company, and it’s believed she could be swayed. It is not clear what the offer entails, but the source reports WWE still values Sane highly.
