Sarah Schreiber interviewed Bianca Belair. Belair wanted to be nice and help Ruby Riott. She also didn’t care much for the thirstiest team in WWE. Peyton Royce interrupted her and suggested Belair find a better partner. Riott also suddenly appeared in the frame and wondered where Billie Kay was. Royce said she was off on business. They argued for a bit before Belair threatened to whip Royce.
Ruby Riott vs. Peyton Royce
Peyton Royce controlled most of the match in the early going. She failed to put her out with a Spinning Kick and then tried for a cheap pin while holding the ropes but was caught by the referee. Moments later, Riott hit the Riott Kick to score a pinfall victory. This was her first singles win in almost year and a half.
Winner: Ruby Riott
Charly Caruso interviewed Angel Garza, Andrade and Zelina Vega. She asked Garza a question but Vega answered instead. Vega said the Street Profits have been in hiding since her clients have exerted their dominance. Andrade said they would become tag champs. Garza spoke to Caruso when they were suddenly attacked by Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
The Street Profits won when Ford hit an impressive damn frog splash where he twisted mid-air to land flush on Garza. Andrade and Garza spoke backstage. They were frustrated with the loss, but they didn’t appear to be frustrated with each other. Vega confronted them about the loss. Garza said they were on the same page. She told them to prove it.
Sasha Banks and Bayley walked out to address their controversial moment last night. Banks said she knows people have been talking about her and claiming she stole the Raw women’s championship, but those people have short term memory and didn’t realize she fought for her championship. Banks said that Asuka made the decision to spit her mist and blind the referee, leaving no one to officiate the match and making it necessary for Bayley to take the referee’s shirt and make the split-second decision to make the count.
Asuka and Sane entered with Asuka calling Banks a thief. Stephanie McMahon interrupted on the tiatnron and stated that the Extreme Rules match with Asuka had no ending and thus Banks and Asuka would have a rematch for the Raw women’s title next week with the title changing via pinfall, submission, disqualification, count out or interference.
Kairi Sane vs. Bayley
Sane used a double foot stomp but Bayley rolled out of the ring before she could make a cover and they went to break. Caruso interviewed Shayna Baszler in the back while the match was happening. Caruso asked if she had a vested interest in the match. She said no one deserves the spotlight more than her, so she has a vested interest in the match the same way a shark has a vested interest when it sees prey in the water.
Sane used a double foot stomp off the top for two. She missed a sliding forearm but came right back with a back fist and spear. Sane hit an Insane Elbow but took too long to make the cover (because of an injured arm) and Bayley got a rope break. Bayley blocked a spear with a knee and followed with a back suplex and flying elbow drop for a close nearfall. Sane countered a Bayley-to-belly into a schoolgirl for the pinfall win.
Winner: Kairi Sane
